Home and Building Automation: Vimar

Vimar, one of the key players in the home and building automation sector, has confirmed its participation in Smart Building Expo 2025. We discussed this with Gian Carlo Corvi, Operational Marketing and Communication Manager at Vimar.

What are your expectations for the 2025 edition?

We envision the 2025 edition as Europe’s most comprehensive trade fair dedicated to innovation in the construction sector, covering areas of interest in our fields, from Home and Building Automation to System Integration, from Electrical Engineering to Telecommunications, encompassing all aspects of digital transformation and the energy transition.

Vimar fits perfectly into this innovative landscape with its View Wireless systems for smart homes, By-me Plus and KNX for home & building automation, as well as Video Door Entry, CCTV, and Intrusion Detection Systems, all designed to integrate smart functionalities, optimizing control, energy efficiency, and comfort in any environment.

Fiera Milano, with MIBA and the four co-located trade fairs, aims to re-establish Italy as a key reference point for the electrification and digital & energy transition industries, following the success of the 2023 edition. What is your take on this project?

We hope this project becomes the ideal platform to represent the entire supply chain, bringing together industry associations and leading companies. We see it as an internationally significant event, where Italian-made technology can engage with global innovations. This is why collaboration and commitment from all stakeholders are crucial.
