QuAir: Environmental Monitoring and Smart Management for Energy Efficiency

QuAir is a multiparametric IoT sensor designed for professional applications in indoor air quality monitoring, developed and manufactured in Italy by UpSens.

QuAir integrates high-precision sensors for continuous measurement of:

  • Temperature (°C)

  • Relative Humidity (%)

  • CO₂ (Carbon Dioxide in ppm)

  • VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds in levels)

  • PM1, PM2.5, PM10 (Fine Particulate Matter in µg/m³)

  • Light (Illuminance in lux)

  • Noise (Sound level in dBA)

  • Radon (coming soon)

  • IAQ (Indoor Air Quality Index)

These parameters are essential to assess environmental comfort, indoor healthiness, and the efficiency of HVAC systems. Data can be accessed via a cloud dashboard or third-party dashboards.

Multi-protocol Connectivity
QuAir supports the main wireless communication protocols for seamless integration into existing IoT infrastructures:

  • MQTT via Wi-Fi

  • Modbus RTU/TCP

  • KNX

  • LoRa (coming soon)
