Home Automation and Energy: Gewiss

Gewiss, one of the leading players in the home and building automation sector, has joined Smart Building Expo.
We spoke with Cristian Dell’Anna, Marketing Manager Cluster Italy.

What are your expectations for the 2025 edition?

The 2025 edition of Smart Building Expo is set to be an unmissable event for the home & building automation sector.
We anticipate a high-impact event, supported by a well-structured advertising campaign capable of engaging a growing audience and showcasing the latest technological innovations in smart building. Internationality must remain a key strength, with the participation of companies and professionals from around the world, fostering the exchange of ideas and cutting-edge solutions.

Another crucial aspect should be the involvement of institutions to give greater visibility to topics such as energy sustainability, system modernization, and regulations supporting the green transition. This approach would help raise awareness among both industry professionals and the general public about the opportunities offered by innovation in the building sector, contributing to the creation of a more connected and efficient ecosystem.

The 2025 edition of Smart Building Expo is therefore shaping up to be a unique opportunity to explore the future of automation and energy efficiency, with a strong focus on innovation and sustainability.

After the success of the 2023 edition, Fiera Milano, along with MIBA and its four associated trade fairs, aims to establish Italy as a reference point for the crucial sectors of electrification and the digital and energy transition. What is your view on this initiative?

The MIBA project undoubtedly represents a strategic resource for the electrification and digital and energy transition sectors.

We have welcomed this initiative with great interest, as it aligns perfectly with the objective of creating a unified system within the electrical supply chain. The establishment of such a well-structured event enhances synergies between the various industry players, providing a concrete opportunity for discussion, innovation, and growth.

Electrification and the digital and energy transition are crucial themes for the future, and having an event of this scale is a positive sign for the entire industrial ecosystem. We are confident that MIBA and its associated trade fairs will continue to serve as a prime platform for promoting cutting-edge solutions and accelerating the journey towards smarter, more efficient, and sustainable energy.
