EPBD4: Guidelines (Copia)
National Smart Installer Forum
Technical training as a lever for the twin transition
In the report on the competitiveness of the European Union, Mario Draghi highlighted how one of the key issues to be addressed is the training of human capital: Europe and Italy, in particular, suffer from the so-called mismatch between the demand and supply of qualified labor.
This issue appears particularly serious in the field of the twin transition of the building stock, where the shortage of technical personnel risks undermining the achievement of the EPBD4 objectives.
To help tackle this problem, the European Union, within the LIFE-CET program, has funded the LIFE SKEMA* project for the upskilling of technical personnel, led by ENAIP.
The project, presented to the public for the first time in Milan, will be at the center of the work of the Smart Installer Forum, the event of the network of qualified installers that has been active in Italy for one year.
*The partners of the Life SKEMA project are: ENAIP, CTA – Consorzio Tecnologie Avanzate, CRESME, Politecnico di Bari, EPC – European Project Consulting, Oficina.
