Open, Reliable and Scalable Automation for Any Building: Wiren Board
For over a decade, Wiren Board has been designing and manufacturing industrial controllers and automation devices that bring together openness, reliability, and flexibility — from luxury apartments to large-scale infrastructure projects.
A proven platform for residential and industrial automation
Wiren Board equipment powers thousands of installations, including oil extraction sites, banking branches, data centers, and residential complexes. Each year, the company produces tens of thousands of devices, controlling the entire production cycle — from component sourcing to automated testing and final assembly — to ensure exceptional reliability.
Openness as a philosophy
At the core of Wiren Board’s philosophy lies openness. The company’s flagship controllers are powered by Wiren Board’s own open-source platform, developed in-house to let integrators combine various systems — HVAC, lighting, energy, and security — into one unified environment. With support for major protocols such as Modbus, MQTT, KNX, Zigbee, Z-Wave, OPC UA, and DALI, Wiren Board enables seamless integration of devices from different manufacturers.
This open architecture means that integrators remain free to choose the best-in-class devices, while Wiren Board ensures everything works together flawlessly.
Introducing Wiren Board 8
At Smart Building Expo 2025, the company will present its new flagship — Wiren Board 8. Powered by a quad-core 64-bit Allwinner T507 processor, it offers higher performance and durability, with Automotive-grade components rated for 20 years of operation even in high-temperature environments. The controller also features up to 4 GB LPDDR4 memory and dual-band Wi-Fi, all within the same compact form factor.
Looking ahead to Smart Building Expo 2025
Wiren Board aims to strengthen its partnerships with system integrators and solution providers, demonstrate the capabilities of its new generation of controllers, and explore collaborations in the fields of energy efficiency, building management, and IoT.
“We believe that openness and reliability are the key factors driving the future of building automation. Wiren Board 8 is our next step toward truly universal integration,” says the company’s team.
