{"id":27442,"date":"2025-12-11T13:08:49","date_gmt":"2025-12-11T11:08:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/smartbuildingexpo.it\/?p=27442"},"modified":"2025-12-11T13:24:47","modified_gmt":"2025-12-11T11:24:47","slug":"focus-on-conto-termico-3-0","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/smartbuildingexpo.it\/en\/news-2\/focus-on-conto-termico-3-0\/","title":{"rendered":"Focus on Conto Termico 3.0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"82\" data-end=\"405\"><strong>During SBE25, it was one of the most debated topics among industry professionals, and now it is becoming a reality: starting from Christmas 2025, the new Conto Termico 3.0 will come into effect\u2014a concrete opportunity for those who want to cut energy consumption and perhaps make their home or building a little \u201cgreener.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"407\" data-end=\"718\">Conto Termico 3.0 is a <strong data-start=\"430\" data-end=\"453\">non-repayable grant<\/strong>, not a tax deduction. This means that if the works meet the requirements, the money\u2014or rather, a significant portion of what is spent\u2014is reimbursed directly to the bank account.<br data-start=\"631\" data-end=\"634\" \/>It is not limited to second homes\u2014the measure applies regardless of property type.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"720\" data-end=\"742\"><strong data-start=\"720\" data-end=\"740\">Who is eligible:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"744\" data-end=\"945\">\n<li data-start=\"744\" data-end=\"817\">\n<p data-start=\"746\" data-end=\"817\">Private citizens (including condominiums) for residential properties;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"818\" data-end=\"862\">\n<p data-start=\"820\" data-end=\"862\">Companies and tertiary sector buildings;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"863\" data-end=\"945\">\n<p data-start=\"865\" data-end=\"945\">Public entities, third-sector organizations, and renewable energy communities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"947\" data-end=\"1060\">In short, almost all possible scenarios\u2014from apartments to warehouses, schools, and workplaces\u2014can be included.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1062\" data-end=\"1090\"><strong data-start=\"1062\" data-end=\"1088\">Eligible interventions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1092\" data-end=\"1141\">Conto Termico 3.0 covers a wide range of works:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1143\" data-end=\"1622\">\n<li data-start=\"1143\" data-end=\"1357\">\n<p data-start=\"1145\" data-end=\"1357\"><strong data-start=\"1145\" data-end=\"1179\">Energy efficiency improvements<\/strong>, such as insulation, thermal cladding, wall and roof insulation, replacement of windows or old closures, installation of solar shading, and overall building envelope upgrades.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1358\" data-end=\"1622\">\n<p data-start=\"1360\" data-end=\"1622\"><strong data-start=\"1360\" data-end=\"1430\">Modern systems for producing thermal energy from renewable sources<\/strong>, including heat pumps (and hybrid systems), biomass boilers, solar thermal systems, and in some cases, photovoltaic systems with storage or electric vehicle charging stations\u2014if compatible.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1624\" data-end=\"1654\"><strong data-start=\"1624\" data-end=\"1652\">Savings and disbursement<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1656\" data-end=\"2129\">\n<li data-start=\"1656\" data-end=\"1742\">\n<p data-start=\"1658\" data-end=\"1742\">For private individuals, the incentive can cover up to <strong data-start=\"1713\" data-end=\"1739\">65% of the expenditure<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1743\" data-end=\"1916\">\n<p data-start=\"1745\" data-end=\"1916\">For public buildings (or entities), in certain cases\u2014for example, small municipalities or structures in towns with only a few thousand inhabitants\u2014it can reach <strong data-start=\"1905\" data-end=\"1913\">100%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1917\" data-end=\"2023\">\n<p data-start=\"1919\" data-end=\"2023\">If the expense is modest (usually up to about \u20ac15,000), the reimbursement is made in a single payment.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2024\" data-end=\"2129\">\n<p data-start=\"2026\" data-end=\"2129\">If the amount exceeds this threshold\u2014or for larger entities\u2014the payment can be <strong data-start=\"2105\" data-end=\"2126\">installment-based<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2131\" data-end=\"2346\">The total fund allocated for the measure is <strong data-start=\"2175\" data-end=\"2200\">\u20ac900 million per year<\/strong>, of which around \u20ac500 million is for private individuals and businesses, and \u20ac400 million for public administrations and third-sector entities.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2348\" data-end=\"2402\"><strong data-start=\"2348\" data-end=\"2400\">Why it is advantageous compared to other bonuses<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2404\" data-end=\"3025\">\n<li data-start=\"2404\" data-end=\"2557\">\n<p data-start=\"2406\" data-end=\"2557\">No \u201ctax capacity\u201d is required: it is not a tax credit, so it does not depend on how much tax you pay.
