During the press conference launching MIBA 2025<\/strong>, the major trade event organized by Fiera Milano that brings together four leading exhibitions\u2014Smart Building Expo<\/strong>,\u00a0MADE expo<\/b>,\u00a0SICUREZZA<\/strong> and GEE \u2013 Global Elevator Exhibition<\/strong>\u2014and that in its 2023 edition attracted over 80,000 professional visitors, the Politecnico di Milano<\/strong>, represented by Professor Niccol\u00f2 Aste<\/strong> and his team\u2014Claudio Del Pero<\/strong> and Fabrizio Leonforte<\/strong> from the Department of Architecture, Built Environment and Construction Engineering\u2014presented the findings of the third MIBA Observatory<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The study offers a medium-term outlook (2025\u20132027) for the construction market, identifying the New European Bauhaus (NEB)<\/strong> as a key driver\u2014a European strategy aiming to combine sustainability, beauty, and inclusiveness<\/strong> in the construction sector.<\/p>\n

From a financial standpoint, the main instrument of this European program will be the NEB Facility<\/strong>, which will invest \u20ac240 million per year<\/strong>. According to several studies, this is expected to generate a financial leverage of 30 times the initial investment<\/strong>, corresponding to over \u20ac7 billion per year<\/strong>, for a total of more than \u20ac20 billion<\/strong> in NEB-oriented projects across Europe over the next three years. In Italy, the study estimates a significant impact of approximately \u20ac2.5 billion<\/strong> over the same period.<\/p>\n

This represents an important driver of innovation<\/strong>, impacting both public and private construction<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

However, what stands out most in the study presented by Prof. Aste is that the four sectors represented by MIBA<\/strong> account for around 50% of the entire market linked to the New European Bauhaus<\/strong>, making this event a key observatory of the ongoing transformation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Specifically, the Politecnico estimates that in the Italian market alone<\/strong>, investments over the next three years stemming from the NEB Facility will amount to approximately \u20ac680 million in sustainable architecture components (Made Expo)<\/strong>, \u20ac350 million in digital technologies and home & building automation (Smart Building Expo)<\/strong>, \u20ac65 million in accessibility technologies (GEE)<\/strong>, and \u20ac150 million in safety and security solutions (Sicurezza)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
