This shift promotes sustainability and reduces CO\u2082 emissions, contributing to the energy transition. However, in Italy several challenges remain: outdated grid infrastructures, the cost of renovation, and the need for skilled technicians. Moreover, the variability of renewable sources requires efficient storage systems and smart grids.
